About this Class:
This class is suitable for children aged 8-13 years. No previous knowledge is required.
The students create their own animations, games and interactive stories with SCRATCH, a block based programming language.
Exploring programming basics like loops, conditionals, events, variables, functions and more, the children will playfully develop an understanding of how programming languages work.
Students will also have the opportunity to work with the Makey Makey circuit board.
Everyone is encouraged to experiment and learn by trial and error with debugging being an essential part of the learning process.
We promote creative thinking and problem solving in a non-competitive, creative and supportive atmosphere.
